Moneyfields manager resigns

Moneyfields manager Bobby De Ste Croix has quit the club after three years in charge at the Dover Road club. Moneyfields have struggled to repeat the heroics of last season, when they finished third, as this season they are currently occupying 10th position in the league table. Joint-boss Miles Rutherford is expected to take full charge of first team affairs.

Wimborne Town capture Hythe & Dibden player

Wimborne Town have completed the signing of Ben Thomson from Division One side Hythe & Dibden. Thomson will make his Town return away to Romsey Town. Thomson - primarily a left-sided player - who has been signed to bolster Wimborne's attacking options - played 44 times for Wimborne in the 2006-07 season, scoring five goals.

Hamworthy United announce new assistant manager

Hamworthy United Manager Simon Browne has appointed Sean Bartlett as his assistant manager. Sean, a Hamworthy United stalwart, played for Poole Town in their Southern League days, as well as Bournemouth Poppies. He also played and managed Hamworthy United when they were in the old Dorset Combination League, winning it once. He was Team Coach and Caretaker Manager before Simon Browne was appointed.

Ringwood Town complete double signing

Ringwood Town have completed the signings of Nick Cooper who spent last season at Lymington Town and also Paul Burnet, a striker from Blackfield & Langley.

Ex City manager is back in football

Former Winchester City Shaun Brooks has returned to the game by joining AFC Bournemouth's Football in the Community department.

Saadi Returns to Victoria Park

Midfielder Fawzi Saadi has left Brockenhurst to rejoin high-flying Bournemouth Poppies. Saadi who has previously played for AFC Bournemouth and Bournemouth Poppies, has spent the early stages of this season at Grigg Lane but has returned 'home' to re-sign for Kenny Vaughan's Bournemouth Poppies.
Manager Kenny Vaughan said "He wanted to come back home. He likes Poppies and thinks it is his club. He enjoys it better with us than elsewhere."

Sole makes 200 appearances

Amesbury Town skipper Neil Sole scored in the Clubs' 3-1 win over Ringwood Town. The game marked Neil's 200th appearance for the Blues since making his debut on 17th August 2002 against Pirelli General in the Hampshire Premier League. 6 foot 6 inch former Peterborough United and Oxford United trainee Sole has scored 32 goals for the Blues in his career at Bonnymead Park.

Paul Gazzard has signed for Brockenhurst on dual-registration forms from neighbours Bashley.
Gazzard had made over 250 appearances for Bash but has signed for Brock for some more game time.
