WIMBORNE TOWN WIN SYDENHAMS WESSEX LEAGUE CUP

Wimborne Town finally got their hands on some silverware after winning the Sydenhams Wessex League Cup in a 1-0 victory over Moneyfields.

After contending for the League title all season but having to settle for 3rd place, Wimborne were indebted to leading scorer, Scott Joyce, who prodded home a Christer Warren free kick in the 58th minute.

V.T. RES COMPLETE LEAGUE & CUP DOUBLE

With a 3-1 victory, the formidable V.T. FC Res team added the Combination Cup to its League trophy in an exciting final against Brading Town Res.

AFC TOTTON WIN MARCH CLUB OF THE MONTH

League President, Ray Barnes, is photographed presenting the March Club of the Month (sponsored by the Daily Echo) to Stuart Ritchie, Manager of AFC Totton. During the month AFC Totton had a 100% League record.

The Division One award was won by Farnborough North End & will be presented by Bob Rose at a forthcoming game.
